The Burnsville, Minnesota, company is transforming the previous site of a Toys R Us in north Midland along Loop 250, according to the city of Midland and the company’s website. The 3109 W. Loop 250 N site will join Northern Tool + Equipment’s first location northeast of the intersection of West Loop 250 and Interstate 20 (2506 Commerce Drive).
There also is a third Northern Tool + Equipment location in Midland-Odessa [at Chimney Rock Shopping Center] on 6151 E. Highway 191, northeast of the intersection of Loop 339 and State Highway 191.
Northern Tool sells specialized equipment in-store and online, such as trailers and trailer parts; pressure washers; power generation; industry-specific hand tools, such as those for heavy equipment and the automotive industry; and hydraulic parts, according to a Reporter-Telegram article that ran before the opening of the first store in Midland in 2017.
