The leaders of the industrial team have extensive backgrounds in acquisition and development including site selection, construction, finance, and asset management. Alan is one of the founders of Fidelis and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer where he is responsible for the overall operation as well as serving as the lead for its investment and development activities. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, he began his career at Price Waterhouse in Dallas and achieved his CPA certification. After receiving an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, Alan began his career in real estate. He spent the first 15 years with Trammell Crow Company in Houston. Starting out as a leasing agent, Alan advanced to become a Senior Managing Director. While there, he was the largest retail investor and developer within the Trammel Crow Company. He left Trammell Crow to create Fidelis.
Active in an array of business activities and organizations, Alan is a licensed real estate broker, member of ICSC, and currently serves, or has served, on numerous corporate, educational, non-profit, political, municipal, and civic boards and committees including Chairman of the Houston Realty Business Coalition, Commercial Retail Council for the Urban Land Institute, Chairman of the Board for ProVision, Inc, and the Advisory Boards of Amegy Bank and Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business. In addition, he previously was a City Councilman for the City of Southside Place within Houston, where he resides with his wife, Cherie. He and his wife have two grown sons.
Steven serves as Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for the Industrial division. Steven joined Fidelis from Nuveen Real Estate where he spent three years on the industrial investments team. While at Nuveen, he was exposed to a wide array of investment transactions, ranging from speculative development projects to core acquisitions, across the Southeastern US. Prior to Nuveen, Steven spent time at JLL in a leasing role and HFF on the investment sales team based in Dallas, Texas. Steven has over 10 years of commercial real estate experience and has been involved in closing more than $4.5 billion in industrial transaction volume over the course of his career.
Steven received his BA from the University of Oklahoma and his MBA from Texas State University. He lives in Dallas with his wife and two sons.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Kevin O’Neil is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelis Healthcare Partners, an affiliate of Fidelis. He is also active in the Industrial division. Kevin has 30 years of diverse real estate experience including more than 20 in healthcare real estate.
Kaevin began his career in administration for Scottsdale Memorial Health which is now a part of Honor Health. He then spent several years in diverse roles with Price Waterhouse in both Phoenix and Dallas. Prior to joining Fidelis Healthcare Partners, he had a successful career with Trammell Crow Company/CBRE focusing primarily on healthcare real estate. At Trammell Crow, he played a key role in the launch and growth of Partners Health Trust which developed and owned 2.2 million square feet of on-campus medical office buildings between 2004 and 2012. As a founding partner of Trammell Crow Company’s healthcare business, Kevin had the opportunity to work directly with over 20 of the country’s 100 largest healthcare systems. At CBRE, he was also instrumental in building one of the most successful healthcare real estate services divisions in the country. He resigned from his role as Executive Managing Director of CBRE Healthcare to get back to his entrepreneurial roots by serving as the CEO of Fidelis Healthcare Partners.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Williams College before moving to Arizona where he earned an MBA in Finance at Arizona State University. Kevin has lived in Dallas, Texas, for over thirty years. He and his wife, Paula, have two daughters and four grandchildren who also reside in the Dallas area.
After retiring from BOKA Powell, a firm that Don started decades ago, he joined Fidelis as the Executive Vice President of Architecture and Planning for the Healthcare and Industrial divisions. He brings years of experience involving a wide variety of aspects of healthcare and industrial developments, including planning and designing more than 35 million square feet of architecture and interiors.
With a family background of builders, Don was working on commercial construction projects by age 13. He earned an architecture degree from Ball State University. Among other accolades, in 2021 he was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
Blake has been with Fidelis since May 2021 as an Associate – Acquisitions & Development in our Dallas office. There, he assists retail and healthcare with research, acquisitions, development, dispositions, and asset management. He comes to Fidelis with consulting experience in the industry as well as experience in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in construction and asset management, as well as autobody repair.
Blake received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas in December 2019. In his free time, he and his wife enjoy going to sporting events, trying new restaurants in Dallas, and traveling.
With flexible capital, Fidelis Industrial will consider a broad range of investment opportunities including acquisition, development, and redevelopment. We are interested in land, individual assets, and assets within a portfolio. Our interests include anything from small warehouses to large distribution centers. We have a keen interest in development and our goal is to identify strategic locations in desirable submarkets to construct facilities for a variety of industries.
