Christmas is right around the corner, and the long-awaited wait for kids everywhere is finally over.
They get to finally ask Santa Claus what they want for Christmas.
At the Mall of Abilene, Santa is trying to see what these kids' wishes are.
"Well, this year, for the little kids, it's a lot of Bluey," said Santa. "They want bluey items. Then the older kids are into the comic book characters like Spider-Man."
Santa asked countless kids the ultimate question and their answers were priceless.
"I really want an electric drumset," said Romeo Carter.
"A shadow high doll," said a local Abilene 3rd grader.
Christmas is a truly special time of year, but what makes this season feel so magical?
"Family and friends, and being with my students from Cooper High School," said Ila Willis.
"Just being healthy and not in the hospital and being with family and just remembering what Christmas is all about," said Drenda Willis.
"That I get to spend the time with my family," said Jazlene Madrid.
"It's really just that I get to see a lot of my family I haven't seen for a long time," said Carter.
Santa has heard it all over the years—but there’s one wish he’s never forgotten.
"Today, I had a kid come and ask for a Lamborghini," said Santa. "He's eight years old, but he has an older brother. I think maybe he was actually asking for him."
It’s all fun and games, but remember—Santa’s always watching, so you have to be on your best behavior.
"Well, they have to be good," said Santa. "They can't get on that naughty list. We don't want kids on the naughty list, and most of them are good. So, you know, it depends on the kid. Sometimes they might not get everything they want."
