Irving, Texas – CHRISTUS Health, an international Catholic, faith-based health system, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new 15-story corporate headquarters situated on a 4.2-acre parcel in the heart of Las Colinas. The grand unveiling took place during a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Monday.
While we don't have hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, it's important to us to invest in our Associates who office here to support our ministries and their growth around the globe. We are doing this by providing them with a uniquely crafted space that not only better suits their needs but also the needs of future Associates who will join us in living out our important mission."
The new 460,000-square-foot tower, adjacent to a 10-story parking garage, will serve as the workplace for approximately 2,000 CHRISTUS Health Associates who support the nonprofit health system from Irving. The design of the space was thoughtfully crafted to align with the health system's legacy and purpose, ensuring that it caters to the requirements of Associates as they work towards fulfilling CHRISTUS Health's mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
This new headquarters will replace previously leased office space in Irving. Over the past decade, CHRISTUS Health has consolidated its corporate offices in Las Colinas, and during this time, the organization has grown from 30,000 to nearly 50,000 Associates in four countries. It has also expanded from impacting 3.8 million lives to touching 7 million lives.
CHRISTUS Health expressed its pride in partnering with the City of Irving, the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations in North Texas.
Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer shared his appreciation for the organization's presence, stating, "We are grateful to have such an important, integral organization in our community that is touching and changing lives every single day. We are always looking for innovative ways to positively change and impact our city. CHRISTUS Health is leading this charge and setting a trend for other organizations beyond just health care. We are so proud to have CHRISTUS be part of our beautiful community."
The real estate development firm, Fidelis Healthcare Partners, an affiliate of Fidelis Realty Partners, played a pivotal role in site selection and pre-development planning while also serving as the developer. The Fidelis Healthcare team, led by Kevin O'Neil and Mark Allyn, with support from their partner Mark Fewin of Guidon Project Solutions, contributed to the project. The building's design was executed by BOKA Powell, led by Don Powell and Joe Hilliard. Manhattan Construction was responsible for the construction of the new headquarters.
