Dick's Sporting Goods is opening a new location in Fort Worth on Friday and the first 100 customers each day of opening weekend will get gift cards of varying amounts with one valued at $500.
Doors open at 9 a.m. for the new location at 4740 SW Loop 820 in the Overton Park Plaza.
It will be the closest Dick’s store to downtown Fort Worth, with other locations in Alliance Town Center, the North East Mall in Hurst and The Parks Mall at Arlington.
Gift card giveaways will happen Friday-Sunday during opening weekend for the first 100 customers ages 18 and older. Amounts will be $10 and $20 with one chance for a customer to win a $500 gift card.
There will be 79 $10 gift cards, 20 $20 gift cards and one $500 gift card each of the three grand opening days, according to the Dick’s disclaimers and restrictions.
During opening weekend, all customers can get $10 off a purchase of $25 or more with a coupon available on the Dick’s website. Other grand opening deals include a raffle, happening Friday-Sunday, for a chance to win a price valued at $500. The Participants in the Dick’s Grand Challenge, which includes photo ops, agility courses, trivia and games, can win a free prize while supplies last.
