A new restaurant is coming to Canton

A popular restaurant chain is opening a new location in Canton.

Do you like Korean BBQ? Does the idea of all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ make you excited?

If you answered yes, you might be interested to know that the popular restaurant chain KPOT is opening a location in Canton at Belden Village Mall.

At KPOT, for AYCE Korean BBQ, you cook a variety of meats and vegetables over a grill at your table. The restaurant has a plethora of meat options including several types of beef: beef bulgogi (a spicy version is also available), Angus chuck tail flap, prime brisket, steak, short rib, and hanger steak.

KPOT also offers a couple of chicken options: chicken bulgogi, spicy chicken bulgogi, and garlic chicken. They also have several types of pork: spicy pork bulgogi, pork belly, spicy pork belly, smoked garlic pork belly, and pork cheeks.

You can also cook these seafood options on the grill: spicy calamari, mussels, spicy fish fillets, garlic shrimp, spicy baby octopus, jumbo shrimp, and spicy salmon. They also offer these vegetables: onion, eggplant, sliced pumpkin, zucchini, potato, sweet potato, king oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, green leaf lettuce, garlic, and pineapple.

 

In addition to AYCE Korean BBQ, the chain offers AYCE hotpot, where you cook a variety of items in a hot pot of soup. Soup options that KPOT offers are spicy soups like Thai tom yum, Szechuan spicy, and Korean seafood tofu; if you prefer a non-spicy option, they have tomato soup, healthy herbs, Japanese miso, and mushroom soup.

In your hot pot of soup, you can cook meats like sliced pork, pork belly, beef belly, prime brisket, lamb, Kobe beef, and chicken. KPOT also serves crab meat, Spam, mini sausages, shrimp dumplings, cattle tripe, quail eggs, tempura, gyoza, lobster balls, beef meatballs, fish balls, fish roe balls, shumai, and fish cakes.

Their hotpot menu also includes seafood such as jumbo shrimp, swai fish, mussels, clams, and squid. They also have a variety of vegetarian options like fried tofu, soft tofu, fried tofu skin, bean curd sticks, spinach, watercress, broccoli, king oyster mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, white mushrooms, seaweed knots, corn, fried taro, lotus root, bok choy, and several kinds of noodles. 

To flavor your meats and vegetables, the restaurant has a variety of sauces such as peanut sauce, fish sauce, sriracha, and more.

No opening date for the Canton location has been announced yet, but KPOT's website says it's "coming soon."
